Iconic Animation Film Studio
Studio Ghibli was founded after the successful performance of NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind (1984). They are best known for animated feature films and have released short subjects, television commercials, and television films. Their highest-grossing films are Spirited Away (2001), Howl's Moving Castle (2004) and Ponyo (2008). Notably, they have collaborated with video game studios on the visual development of several games.
Studio Ghibli films have garnered numerous awards and critical acclaim from film critics and animation specialists around the world. Spirited Away was awarded the Golden Bear as the Best Feature Film at the 2002 Berlin International Film Festival and won the 2002 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film.
